According to reports, Liverpool FC have registered interest in 18-year old Vasco da Gama attacker Talles Magno. The Reds are believed to have initiated negotiations with the Brazilian club over a move for the youngster ahead of next season.
However, Liverpool FC are not the only major club to have been interested in making a move for Magno. The player’s attacking exploits for his current side has led to him being branded as ‘the next Neymar’ within the local media. The former Brazilian U-17 international has also drawn attention from AC Milan, Manchester United, and Real Madrid, reports suggest.
But it is understood that a move to Anfield this summer is the 18-year old’s preferred choice. Liverpool FC is currently home to several Brazilian first-team names such as Roberto Firmino, Fabinho, and Alisson Becker. Magno’s adaptation to the Premier League could be helped by the presence of fellow players from his homeland at the Merseyside club.
With the 18-year old’s current deal set to expire in 2022, Vasco da Gama could be forced to sanction the forward’s sale amid interest from Jurgen Klopp’s side. Rumors indicate the possibility of the Brazilian side seeking a €20 million bid for Magno.
