Jurgen Klopp keen to move in for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

Jurgen Klopp is said to be keen to move in for the highly-rated Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic when the transfer window reopens for business in the New Year.

Liverpool’s lack of creativity in the heart of the midfield has hit them hard so far this season with the Merseysiders sitting tenth in the Premier League table after a horrid start to the campaign.

Rumours are doing the rounds that in light of the recent injury trouble for summer signing Arthur Melo who is sidelined until 2023, Klopp is looking to dip into the transfer market for a fresh face to bolster his under-fire engine room.

According to a claim from the Daily Express, Milinkovic-Savic has emerged on the radar at Anfield with the Lazio playmaker who could be available by his club for a fee north of £60 million in the upcoming January window.

It appears that Klopp and his side could benefit from a new signing come January to provide much-needed strength to the midfield ranks which has failed to hit the ground running in the new season.
