As per the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool are among several clubs keeping a close eye on Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, who could potentially make a move in the ongoing transfer window. It is said that the player’s agent has traveled to Liverpool for talks with the club.
The 24 years old garnered significant attention after his impressive performances for Italy in the delayed Euro 2020 tournament. Despite the interest, a transfer for Chiesa did not materialize at the time.
Liverpool had previously made an ambitious £86 million bid for Chiesa following Euro 2020 but shifted their focus to other targets after the deal failed to materialize.
However, recent speculation suggests that the Reds and manager Jurgen Klopp are once again monitoring Chiesa’s situation, particularly amidst reports of his dissatisfaction in Turin.

The Italian star is open to leaving Juventus as he feels he is not a prominent figure at the club. This has sparked the interest of several European clubs, including Liverpool, who are still believed to have an interest in the winger.
Newcastle and Bayern Munich are also said to be actively interested, with the latter already engaging in discussions with Chiesa’s representatives.
The transfer fee for Chiesa is expected to be considerably lower than the figure previously mentioned in 2021, with a range of €35m (£30m) to €45m (£38.5m).
After a disappointing 2022/23 campaign, Liverpool manager Klopp has expressed his expectation for the club to be active in the summer transfer market, further indicating their potential interest in Chiesa.
