Lille star Renato Sanches is a major name to watch out for this summer in the transfer market with interest high from clubs across Europe in signing the Portugal international midfielder.
Reports from French news outlet L’Equipe have claimed that Liverpool and Arsenal are in line to make an approach for the 23-year-old Sanches ahead of the next season’s start.
Sanches was a crucial presence on the Lille teamsheet during their title-winning heroics last season in Ligue 1 and he followed it up with a decent run of form at the UEFA European Championships for Portugal who crashed out in the Last-16 following a narrow loss to Belgium.
With Lille finding themselves in a host of financial issues of late, the French outfit are understood to be shipping out a few of their in-demand players and Sanches could be next to head out the exit door which will have Liverpool alert to the situation.
Klopp is a long-term admirer of the former Bayern Munich man’s talents and the Liverpool boss is believed to be on the hunt for a new midfield man to take up Gini Wijnaldum’s vacancy in the centre of the park for his Merseyside outfit.
