Jurgen Klopp is looking to bolster his squad by adding young talents and is now looking to lure Fulham star midfielder Harvey Elliot in the summer transfer window.
The Reds have tasted Champions League success and Klopp wants his Liverpool team to use that as a platform for greater achievements in the near future. Liverpool finished second on the Premier League table and just one solitary point behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
But now Klopp is planning on dethroning the Manchester City as champions of England and looking to build a team that can end Liverpool’s 30-year long wait for a Premier League title.
The German boss wants to bring in reinforcements and is looking to lure in young talents to create a dynasty. Liverpool already completed the signing of young Dutch defender Sepp Van Den Berg earlier this summer and Klopp is keeping tabs on the youngest ever player to play in the Premier League.
Fulham wonder kid Harvey Elliot broke the record for the youngest player to grace the Premier League when he came on as a late substitute against Wolves at age 16 years and 30 days old. The teenage sensation has also declined a scholarship from the Championship side and looks set to make a move away from Craven Cottage this summer with plenty of European top clubs interested in his signature.
Elliot has received offers from Liverpool and Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain and is continually attracting interest after a show of skill and brilliance for Fulham. The Reds have reportedly agreed on a transfer fee for Elliot and the 16-year-old is tipped to join the Champions League winners.
