Liverpool considering a £20 million bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch

Liverpool are understood to be considering launching a £20 million bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch to reinforce their midfield roster before the September 1 transfer deadline.

Jurgen Klopp finally got his much needed signing from the market in Japan midfielder Wataru Endo who join the Reds on a four deal from Bundesliga side Stuttgart after the likes of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia turned down moves to Anfield.

According to a report from the German publication BILD, Liverpool are out to make a renewed attempt to sign the Dutch international Gravenberch with the former Ajax man failing to earn regular game time for Bayern.

It is mentioned in the report that Klopp and Liverpool’s recruitment department have long been admirers of Gravenberch who also has Manchester United chasing his signature despite Bayern’s reluctantance on sanctioning a move elsewhere.

The Anfield camp have parted ways with the likes of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, James Milner and Naby Keita this summer and the club are hoping to bolster the engine room further in the final days of the transfer window.
