Liverpool enter mix to make a move for Aston Villa star Jack Grealish

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC are speculated to be in the fray to make a move for Aston Villa and England playmaker Jack Grealish, according to reports from The Mirror.

Grealish’s future at Villa Park beyond next summer looks highly uncertain amid rising interest in him from a host of top clubs across the country, including the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City, with the Manchester-based duo now being joined by the Merseyside Reds in the battle to secure the Villa man’s signature.

The 25-year-old attacker has been the Villa Park outfit’s most influential presence on the pitch since the Midlands-based side gained promotion to the top-flight division, however, since his string of brilliant showings, Grealish has been tipped to seal an exit from Dean Smith’s side.

Having just penned a new deal with Aston Villa this past September, signing Grealish would surely come at a very high price for any of the aforementioned clubs interested in the England international, but both Manchester-based clubs and Liverpool FC certainly have the financial might to pull off a major move come next summer.

Mohammad Salah’s seemingly uncertain future in the Liverpool FC colours is bound to worry Jurgen Klopp and Co. as 2021 looms, and the Reds gaffer will be keen on shortlisting candidates of Grealish’s quality to replace the Egyptian international should he choose to exit Anfield.
