According to Rudy Galetti, Jurgen Klopp’s side are looking to move in for the midfielder who has been a top performer for his side in Portugal’s top flight and found himself a huge admirer in the Man City head coach Pep Guardiola.
Speculation linking Liverpool with the Lisbon midfield maestro is unlikely to take a concrete form in what remains of this summer window with Klopp not expected to bring in any fresh faces barring a last-minute change of decision.
