Liverpool fans could be imposed a fine ahead of their Paris trip

Later this month, Liverpool fans will go over (or under) the Channel to watch the Reds play Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Jurgen Klopp has taken Liverpool to their third Champions League final and fourth European final as manager, despite a devastating defeat to Villarreal.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, UEFA confirmed earlier this year that the Champions League final for this season will be moved to Paris from St Petersburg.

After last year’s final between Chelsea and Manchester City was shifted to Portugal, the Champions League final was planned to be held at the Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg.

The highlight event, however, will now take place on May 28 at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.

The Reds have been one of the best in class for the last 3 to 4 seasons and there have been significant addition in their supporters throughout Europe.

And with a capacity of 80,000+ fans at the main event of the UCL final, there will be more than enough jeers and whistles from the Reds’ section towards the Madrid fans.

Liverpool fans will travel to the final in a variety of ways, and those driving to Paris should be aware of laws that might result in a fine of up to 130 euros, according to Daily Mail.

Because Paris is a limited traffic zone, all vehicles entering the city must display a “Crit’Air” anti-pollution sticker. The stickers show how much carbon each vehicle emits.

As the clock ticks down to the finals, Liverpool fans will need to strap up and start reserving their tickets before they all sell out, ensuring a thrilling match under the lights of Stade de France.
