Liverpool gave a fitting farewell to the AC Milan bound Divock Origi on the final day of the season where Jurgen Klopp’s men clinched a 3-1 win over Wolves.
The Merseysiders had to come from behind to secure the three points which could have won them the Premier League crown but Manchester City’s own turnaround in the 3-2 result against Aston Villa proved otherwise.

Origi, who did not make the matchday squad for coronation day this Sunday owing to a muscle niggle, was handed a heartwarming farewell by his fellow players who gave the Belgian striker a guard of honour.
The striker is on the verge of making the move to the newly crowned Serie A champions AC Milan, bringing curtains down on his Anfield stint, which lasted just shy of eight years and earned him the status of a ‘Kop icon’ amongst the Liverpool supporters.
He netted six goals in Merseyside derbies, the most by a foreign player in the history of the high-billed fixture while his twin strikes against FC Barcelona in the 2019 Champions League semi-final were crucial to Klopp’s side going through to the finals.
