Liverpool are said to have no intention of selling midfielder Naby Keita this summer amid interest shown in him by Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.
Keita made the move to Anfield from Leipzig in the summer of 2018 and is now heading into the final 12 months of his current deal with Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders with talks over a renewal leading nowhere.
According to a report from Goal, Keita is unhappy with his contract situation in the Liverpool camp and could be convinced to look for a move away but Liverpool will be standing in the player’s way should he choose that route.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to keep the 27-year-old Keita both this season and beyond despite rumors doing the rounds that the Liverpool head coach remains on the lookout for reinforcements to add to his midfield options.
Borussia Dortmund talent Jude Bellingham is reportedly the top name on Klopp’s wishlist with the England international maestro impressing the Liverpool manager with his displays in Germany’s top flight.
