Liverpool have identified Frenchman Randal Kolo Muani as a replacement for the outgoing Roberto Firmino who is set to leave the Reds this summer.
Firmino has decided not to renew his terms on the Merseyside and instead opt for a new challenge elsewhere with the Brazil international bringing the curtains down on his illustrious eight year spell in the Liverpool shirt.
According to a report from Sports Witness, it is claimed that Firmino heading out the exit door at Anfield could mean that Liverpool step up their efforts to sign the in demand Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
Muani has attracted interest from Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Manchester United following his excellent form this season 11 goals and 10 assists in 23 Bundesliga outings and he could be set for a move to a bigger club sooner rather than later.
Paris Saint-Germain are also considered as one of the other European big boys keeping tabs on the 24-year-old forward but Man United are reportedly the frontrunners to sign the player with Eric ten Hag’s side in line to make an official offer.
