Liverpool interested in signing Real Madrid star forward Eden Hazard

Liverpool are rumoured to be interested in making a move for Real Madrid star forward Eden Hazard in the forthcoming January transfer window.

The Belgium international has failed to hit the ground running since his mega-money move to the Spanish capital from Chelsea in the summer of 2019 and there is speculation of Hazard wanting a return to the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp is looking for reinforcements in the attacking department and Roberto Firmino’s addition to the injury list at Anfield might fast-track the plans of bringing in a fresh face for the Liverpool ranks.

Reports from El Nacional suggest that the Reds boss is keen on landing Hazard’s signature from Real Madrid amid the talk gaining ground that the player’s former club Chelsea are keeping close tabs on his situation.

Klopp only has Diogo Jota as his go-to option to provide cover in the forward roles with the likes of Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi afforded sparse first-team action in recent times.
