Liverpool are reportedly keeping close tabs on Red Bull Salzburg starlet Luka Sucic as the Reds look to rebuild their midfield ranks before the next season gets underway.
A dire campaign at Anfield this term has convinced the Liverpool board and Jurgen Klopp to consider overhauling the squad in the summer transfer window later this year by bringing in at least four new faces.
According to a report from The Daily Mirror, it is claimed that 20-year-old Luka Sucic is a name on Liverpool’s transfer radar ahead of this summer after the Reds decided to cool their interest in signing long-standing target Jude Bellingham.
Sucic has previously shared his view on speculation linking with a move away from Salzburg as the youngster hinted that a transfer could be on the cards with some of Europe’s top clubs keen on his signature.
He has notched up just under 100 appearances for Salzburg and earned four caps for the senior Croatian national team which has made other clubs take note of his ability and mull over making an approach to prise him away from Salzburg.
