Liverpool looking to amp up their chase for Wolves forward Adama Traore

Liverpool are reportedly looking to amp up their chase for Wolves forward Adama Traore who has been linked with a move to Anfield in the recent past.

The pacy Spaniard has been courted heavily by a host of clubs in England’s top flight amid the speculation that Wolves are keen to offer him extended terms to commit his long-term future at the Molineux.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s camp have been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old Traore and are now in line to step up their pursuit for his signature in the run-up to the January transfer window, according to reports from Spanish news outlet El Nacional.

Traore is one of the top names on the shopping list for the mid-year window for Klopp whose admiration for the player’s ability on the pitch has been well documented over the past year or so despite Liverpool boasting of a quality attacking roster themselves.

The Merseysiders will have to fend off competition from domestic rivals Tottenham Hotspur who are understood to be right in the mix for Traore’s signature in an effort to bolster their options in the forward lineup.
