Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could leave in the January transfer window

Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could leave the club in the January transfer window with a summer exit all but certain.

The former Arsenal man, who has featured on a regular basis in recent games for an injury hit Liverpool side, is heavily tipped to call it quits on Merseyside at the end of the season when his contract expires.

A host of clubs across the continent have been credited with an interest in singing the midfielder who has suffered an unlucky couple of last seasons at Anfield due to recurring injury troubles which has curtailed his game time.

According to a report from The Daily Mail, it is claimed that Chamberlain is considering his options ahead of this month’s transfer deadline with interest from England-based clubs in the player increasing.

The 29-year-old is set to decide whether to demand an exit in the ongoing transfer window when he has guaranteed top-flight options or in the summer when the transfer market could have new faces coming in.
