Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has entered into talks with Turkish giants Galatasaray over a move in the summer when his contract at Anfield is due to expire.
Keita’s future on Merseyside has been the subject of much speculation since the turn of the year as the former RB Leipzig man has struggled to cement his starting berth for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Into the final six months of his current terms with the Reds, a move on for Keita could well be on the cards ahead of this summer with Okan Buruk’s Galatasaray in negotiations with the player with preparations set for the end of the season.
According to a report from the Turkish publication A Spor, it is claimed that the Liverpool midfield man is likely to leave the Merseysiders ahead of the start of the 2023-24 season in search of a new destination.
Galatasaray have made contact with Keita’s representatives with the desire to land his signature on a free transfer with Keita making just ten appearances in all competitions this term for Klopp’s squad.
