As stated by the club’s official website, Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton finalized a last-minute loan transfer to Hull City on the previous night.
Initially, there were reports of his move to Hull earlier in the day on transfer deadline day, but as the 11 p.m. deadline approached, there was no confirmation. Finally, at 11:45 p.m., an official announcement confirmed Morton’s season-long departure.
The fans became aware of the youngster’s move well after the transfer deadline had passed, indicating that his transfer likely went down to the last minute.
Hull seems to be a promising place for Morton to continue his development. A season in the Championship significantly benefited his physical attributes last year, and it’s hoped he’ll have another successful year.
While the midfielder secured his loan deal, there were a couple of young Liverpool players who didn’t manage to do so.
In addition to Morton, Luke Chambers and Bobby Clark were reportedly expected to leave Anfield on loan. However, despite interest from Derby on deadline day, both players remained at the club.
Morton is likely eager to get another opportunity in the Championship. The midfielder appears to be optimistic, especially after receiving high praise from Jurgen Klopp a year ago.

Now, his aim should be to progress further and prove that he can be a valuable choice for Liverpool. Assuming he remains injury-free, there’s confidence that Morton can achieve this. Klopp already holds him in high regard.
If he continues to develop during his time at Hull, he could find himself in Liverpool’s first team within a year from now.
