Liverpool predicted line-up vs Norwich City, Firmino leads the line in a 4-3-3 and Mane to return

Liverpool will take on Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday hoping to stretch the unbeaten run in the Premier League this season.

The two sides are facing contrasting fortunes as Jürgen Klopp and his Reds side are currently at the top of the English Premier League with the Canaries languishing at the bottom of the League table.

Liverpool would be ample favourite by all standard, but Daniel Farke will expect his wards to put up a stern test in front of their home fans.

Liverpool boss (Jürgen)Klopp will opt for a 4-3-3 formation and would welcome the Senegalese forward Sadio Mane back to his side for this upcoming fixture at the Norfolk County.

Defence

Alisson Becker should return to first-team after missing out in the narrow 1-0 win over League One side Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup. Defender Virgil Van Dijk will affirm his partnership with Joe Gomez at the heart of the Red’s defence.

However, the centre-back duo will have their hands full while facing Norwich hotshot Teemu Pukki who is the Norwich’s top goal-scorer with 11goals as far as this season is concerned.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will feature in the right-back position as always as he looks to whip in inviting crosses into the Canarie  penalty area. Andrew Robertson will play on the other side as the
left-back.

The German tactician may inform his full-backs to press the Norwich opposition high up the pitch in order to dispossess them quickly while creating room and openings for the front players on the break.

Midfield

The Liverpool manager (Jürgen)would be expected to retain the same midfield three that started the 4-0 defeat of Southampton last week.

So Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will line-up at the middle while they try to dominate with the ball and make-up some excellent scoring chances in the final third.

The midfield duo (Jordan)Henderson and (Alex) Oxlade-Chamberlain found their scoring boots with goals apiece against Southampton and should be riding on a renewed measure of form and confidence ahead of the weekend game against Daniel Farke’s men.

Fabinho and Guinea star Naby Keita will have to settle for places on the bench. Veteran midfielder James Milner may not fully recover in time for the Norwich match.

Attack

Both Africans Mohamed Salah and the returning forward Sadio Mane should keep the Norwich defenders busy on the wings while Roberto Firmino leads Liverpool’s attack from the centre forward position.

The Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah is in the form of his life at the moment scoring a brace against the Saints last week with a couple of decent performance in recent games. He should be confident of putting in a show against Norwich City later on Saturday.

All said and done, Mane’s availability is a bit uncertain not minding his return to first-team training earlier this week.

Klopp may well rest him to ensure physical fitness especially as Athletico Madrid lies in wait for Liverpool later in the next week few days. However, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi will be available for selection on the bench.
