Liverpool renew interest in signing Wolves star Adama Traore

Liverpool FC have not discounted the possibility of adding long-term target Adama Traore to the already star-studded attacking ranks at Anfield, according to reports from the Express.

Traore has been unable to emulate last season’s form for Wolves in the ongoing top-flight campaign, with the Spaniard being a shadow of his former self when in front of the goal.

With a sole assist and no goals to show for in as many as 17 Premier League outings, speculation persists that the 24-year-old winger may be inclined to take the exit door out of Molineux in the January transfer window.

Should Traore desire of staying put in the country, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are understood to be eager on making a move for their much-scouted attacking target, with a cut-price fee of £35 million being believed to be wanted by the Midlands-based outfit for parting ways with the ex-FC Barcelona player.

The Merseyside giants had been after the Wolves first-teamer last summer as well before being discouraged by Nuno Espirito Santo’s side seeking a payment upwards of a £100 million.
