Liverpool are rumoured to have made an informal approach for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo with a bid of €60 million tabled by the Anfield giants.
According to a report from the Spanish news publication El Nacional, Liverpool have sought to bolster their forward options this summer after parting ways with the long-serving winger Sadio Mane who has made the move to Bayern Munich.
A top name on Jurgen Klopp’s wishlist to add to his attacking lineup is the Brazilian starlet Rodrygo, who despite his stellar showings for Real Madrid last term, has failed to cement a regular berth on the team sheet.
Rodrygo is said to be happy to stay put at the Santiago Bernebeu with the European champions Real but the club’s president Florentino Pérez will be likely to have his head turned by the big-money offer speculated to have been made by Liverpool.
The recent rumours come amid the talk gaining ground as of late that Jurgen Klopp could be done in his dealings for this summer after landing three new recruits in Fabio Carvalho, Darwin Nunez and Calvin Ramsay.
