Liverpool are seeking an ambitious £20 million bid to sanction Divock Origi’s sale with the Belgian international forward tipped to exit Anfield this summer in the hope of more minutes on the football pitch.
Origi has largely been a marginalised figure at Anfield over the last couple of seasons and following his omission from Belgium’s squad heading to this summer’s Euros, speculation is rife that he will demand a move elsewhere.
Reports from The Athletic claim that Liverpool are willing to part ways with the striker but are after a £20 million offer to sanction his sale to any of the clubs interested in signing him.
The aforementioned figure does suggest that the Reds value Origi highly despite his struggles on the pitch this past season and his well-documented lack of first-team involvement following Diogo Jota’s arrival on Merseyside.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will plan do to business as usual in the summer window with Jurgen Klopp having his first signing all sealed up in the form of France U21 international Ibrahima Konate who joins the Merseysiders in a long-term deal.
