Liverpool to block Salah, Firmino, Alisson and Fabinho for international duty

Liverpool’s first-team quartet of Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino will not be allowed to partake in international duty next week by the club, according to reports from The Liverpool Echo.

The likes of Salah and Alisson Becker are of much importance to the Liverpool teamsheet with Jurgen Klopp keen on seeing his side carry on their recent run of form which has been on the show in the past couple of weeks.

Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders have recorded two wins on the go in the newly commenced Premier League campaign, the latest coming at Anfield against Burnley, and the decision to block Salah and the Brazilian trio for international duty is believed to be due to the fact that the players will have to quarantine upon their return.

Joining Liverpool are a host of other clubs across the continent who face the risk of having to not call upon their players following their return from international duty at the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
