Liverpool told to fork out €100 million for Napoli wonderkid Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Liverpool have been told to fork out €100 million for the highly-rated Napoli wonderkid Khvicha Kvaratskhelia by his agent who reckons the midfielder is one of the brightest talents in world football.

Kvaratskhelia was a stellar performer for Napoli in their recent outing to Anfield which finished in a 2-0 win for Liverpool with both teams advancing to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The player’s agent Christian Emile, while speaking to the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel, revealed that there was no chance for Liverpool to try to sign the Napoli starlet in the upcoming January transfer window.

“You know what’s crazy, he’s done what he’s been doing in Russia and Europe for the past couple of years. He’s come to Napoli, he’s been unbelievable, and people are talking about over €100m. He’s already been doing it.

“For me, if he continues to perform like this until the end of the season and does it again next season, because I don’t see Napoli selling him now. There’s a 0% chance [in January]. But if he continues as he is doingn ow until the end of the season and replicates the same for next season, he will reach €100m (£86.7m) for sure.”

The speculation doing the rounds over Liverpool’s interest in moving in for Kvaratskhelia comes at a time when Jurgen Klopp is being urged by many to bring in fresh faces to revamp an aging midfield roster at his disposal.

While James Milner is set to turn 37, the likes of Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson have endured recurring fitness issues this season as Naby Keita and loan signing Arthur remain long-term injury absentees.
