His fall down the pecking order in the Liverpool camp has meant sparse first-team football for the Merseysiders but Jurgen Klopp is not expected to part ways with his striker midway through the campaign, according to claims from Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist has sounded out that Origi remains crucial to Klopp who has lost both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, Liverpool’s attacking mainstays, to the Africa Cup of Nations which is now underway in Cameroon.
Juventus, AC Milan and Atalanta are some of the Italian top flight clubs who have been credited with a strong interest in the Liverpool man Origi with Newcastle United leading the race amongst Premier League’s outfits.
