Xherdan Shaqiri’s future at Anfield beyond this summer’s transfer window continues to attract attention as Liverpool are yet to receive the right offer from interested parties to sanction the player’s sale.
The Swiss international wide man has been heavily backed to call it quits on Merseyside ahead of the start of the new campaign with Shaqiri falling down the pecking order at Anfield in recent years.
With Liverpool linked with a host of attacking players from the transfer market, speculation is rife that Shaqiri will be heading out the exit door with Serie A giants Lazio in pole position to secure his signature ahead of other rival clubs in the fray.
Sport1’s Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Shaqiri remains open to sealing his exit from the Premier League this summer as Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool outfit seek a €10 million asking price for parting ways with the former Stoke City forward.
Update #Shaqiri (due to many inquiries): Still no interesting offers for him. No negotiations with any club. His price tag remains around €10m. His salary demand is around €3-4m + add ons. He still wants to leave #LFC this summer. @SPORT1 🇨🇭

Shaqiri’s wage demands of €3-4 million are unlikely to fend off interest in landing his signature with Lazio’s new boss Maurizio Sarri keen on bolstering his attacking options by signing the Liverpool man.
