Manchester City are confident of pipping Liverpool to sign Jude Bellingham next summer with both clubs vying for the Borussia Dortmund talent’s signature.
Bellingham has been widely tipped to leave the Bundesliga outfit at the end of the season and make the switch back to his homeland where some of the biggest Premier League sides are keeping tabs on him.
Liverpool’s well-documented interest in the English midfield sensation, who impressed for The Three Lions at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has been rivaled of late by the defending champions of the land Manchester City.
According to a report from The Sun, it is claimed that the City head coach Pep Guardiola is growing in confidence of swaying Bellingham into moving to the Etihad with the former tied down to the Premier League holders until 2025.
With an extra three years of the highly-rated Guardiola in the City camp, the club are hopeful of luring Europe’s most promising names and the 19-year-old Bellingham will certainly be one of the top names on their wishlist.
