Mohamed Salah’s agent lands in England for contract talks with Liverpool

Mohamed Salah’s agent landed in England for the talks with Liverpool over extending his client’s stay at Anfield beyond the summer of 2023.

Liverpool have so far been unable to tie down their star forward to a new long-term deal with Salah understood to be demanding a major hike in his wages to commit his future to the Anfield giants.

The Egyptian, meanwhile, continues to enjoy a fantastic spell of form in front of the goal and leads the goalscoring charts in the Premier League, leading to speculation that Klopp is pushing hard for the club to offer him his salary bump.

Reports from The Daily Mirror claim that Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa flew into England for talks with Liverpool of making progress on the contract extension front for the Reds star forward player.

Salah’s demands of a £500,000 a weekly wage are likely to cause trouble within the Liverpool camp who could be in line to tinker around with their wage structure to make Salah the highest-paid player at Anfield.
