Liverpool FC megastar Mohammad Salah has added fuel to fire over his long-term future at Anfield by suggesting that he remained unsure of his next playing destination.
In an interview with Spanish publication Marca, the Egyptian international claimed that his future in the Reds shirt was out of his hands before voicing coyness over what could happen in the coming time.
“It is not up to me,” said Salah.
“We’ll see what happens but I prefer not to talk about this now.”
“I hope I can play soccer for many, many years. Why not? Nobody knows what will happen in the future, so maybe one day.”
The 28-year-old Salah has been linked with a move away from Merseyside in the foreseeable future as speculation is rife that the forward is being targeted by the likes of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona heading into this summer.
Moreover, Jurgen Klopp is yet to table an improved deal in front of his attacking stalwart with the Liverpool FC boss understood to be keen on prioritising the extension of Virgil van Dijk’s stay at Anfield.
In light of the recent talk of Salah’s exit, it has been claimed that Liverpool FC have identified Borussia Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland as their number one target for the summer despite Dortmund sticking to their exorbitant €150 million price-tag.
