Mohammad Salah is the sole Liverpool player in the 2020-21 PFA Team of the Year

Mohammad Salah is the sole player representing Liverpool in the 11-man PFA Premier League Team of the Year announced for the 2020-21 season with the title-winners Manchester City dominating the teamsheet.

Salah scored 22 goals last time around in just 37 top-flight outings which placed the Egyptian superstar just a goal adrift of Spurs talisman Harry Kane who took home the much-coveted Premier League Golden Boot.

For Jurgen Klopp’s Reds which often misfired this past season in domestic football, Salah was a pivotal part in the final third of the pitch and was influential in his showings during Liverpool’s tremendous finish to the 2020-21 season which resulted in a third-place finish for the Champions League chasers.
