Liverpool star forward Mohammad Salah has admitted that no fresh talks are underway between him and the club over a new improved deal as his future at Anfield beyond the upcoming summer remains shrouded with doubt.
The Egypt international had talked up a potential move to La Liga giants Real Madrid earlier this year with Salah saying that he did not rule out an exit from Merseyside in the coming time.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah, who has been the most influential performer for an under-fire Liverpool outfit over the course of this season, asserted that he had nothing new to add on the contract front but added that he was keen on extending his stay in the Reds shirt and compete for further trophies.
“No one is talking to me about that, so I can’t say much about that,” he said.
“No one in the club is talking to me about anything so I do not know.”
“I said before that I want to win the Premier League again, I want to win the Champions League again.”
“It’s a great thing to win, I’m just trying to win it again and again. Part of our job is to win trophies.”
Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are two clubs that have expressed interest in making a move for the Liverpool superstar who has netted 20 goals in 33 top-flight outings this season.
