Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat tipped to make the move to the Premier League

Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has been tipped to make a move to the Premier League on the back of his stellar run of displays at the World Cup in Qatar.

The 27-year-old midfielder has emerged on the transfer radar at Anfield with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool gearing up to battle North London giants Tottenham Hotspur to secure Amrabat’s signature next summer.

According to journalist Amine El Amri ( via Sky Sports), it has been indicated that Fiorentina are expected to listen to offers for their in-demand player come January when the transfer window reopens for business after the New Year.

Amrabat’s displays have been instrumental to his country becoming the first African side to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup where they take on the defending champions France later this week.

He had come close to signing for Spurs last January only for Fiorentina to make it clear that they were not interested in parting ways with the midfield maestro who was subject to a loan deal with a buy option included from the English capital.
