Jurgen Klopp’s long term future in the top job at Liverpool FC has been thrown into uncertainly after reports from German publication BILD have suggested that the Reds gaffer could leave Anfield next summer.
Klopp has not enjoyed the best of life this season while in charge of the Merseyside Reds, with his title-winning side enduring a bleak defence of their top-flight crown and despite him playing down any talk of leaving Liverpool FC, BILD claims that the German would be keen on returning to his homeland very soon.
There has been the previous speculation of Klopp taking over the managerial reigns of the German national team after he calls it quits at Anfield, where the 53-year-old’s contract comes to a close only in 2024.
However, the German has been very vocal in rebuffing any rumours of him seeking a chance of scenery, insisting that he was happy at Anfield in spite of a below-par showing in Premier League football this season from the Merseysiders.
Chances of Klopp seeing out his current deal with Liverpool until 2024, according to the latest set of reports, stands at 30 per cent, which is half of the probability which suggests that the German coach would be eager on taking control of the Die Mannschaft.
