Paris Saint-Germain Not Interested In Signing Liverpool Winger Luis Diaz

French side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are not interested in signing Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz this summer according to Sky Sports.

The South American winger was recently linked with a move to Paris and it was claimed that he could be Kylian Mbappe’s replacement in the Qatari-owned team.

However, the club’s hierarchy is not looking at Diaz and could be targeting other players in the market. PSG’s director Luis Campos is ready to invest in an attacker who suits the team’s game-play under Luis Enrique.

It was earlier claimed that the Ligue 1 side met with the winger’s agents. But these reports have been washed off by the recent updates about the transfer saga.

The Liverpool star doesn’t suit that player and hence, there is no concrete interest in him. This was expected since the Columbian ace’s contract with the Reds runs until 2027.

Diaz has a huge role to play if Mohamed Salah decides to leave the Anfield side this summer.

The latter’s future at the club is uncertain and that could help the former to secure his place in the starting XI.

Will Liverpool consider Diaz’s departure in the upcoming summer transfer window?

There is no way the club will be allowing Diaz to leave and the fans would be relieved to hear this. Jurgen Klopp has built an experienced squad who are capable of winning major titles.

The 27-year-old attacker will be in favor of staying put even past the post-Klopp era as the club moves towards an exciting phase under a new manager.

Many other players will be happy to stay at Anfield and help the club rise again. Diaz is an important player due to his skilful moves, pacy movements and goalscoring abilities.

PSG may not view him as a direct replacement for Mbappe and that makes sense because both players have a different profile.
