Manchester United and Liverpool have renewed their interest in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch this summer, as reported by French source Foot Mercato.
The Dutch player is embarking on his second season with the German champions, yet he has not secured a consistent starting role.
Consequently, speculation surrounds his future, with Foot Mercato indicating that both Man United and Liverpool have rekindled their pursuit of the former Ajax prodigy.
While the report specifies that neither club has presented an official bid, it is noted that Gravenberch would prioritize a move to United over Liverpool if he chooses to depart from Bayern Munich before the transfer window concludes.

Gravenberch was a pivotal figure at his previous club Ajax, yet he has encountered difficulties in securing significant playing time since his transfer to Munich last year.
Despite making 24 appearances in the German top-flight last season, the Dutch international’s average duration on the field per appearance was just 23 minutes for Bayern.
Operating in a backup role behind Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, Gravenberch also faces new competition from Konrad Laimer, who joined Bayern on a free transfer from Leipzig.
However, Bayern might be hesitant to part with him before the transfer window concludes.
Presently ranked as the fourth-choice midfielder within the squad, it would be safe to say that manager Thomas Tuchel won’t consider selling him unless a suitable replacement is secured.
While the 21-year-old may desire more playing time and consider a move, executing the deal might pose a challenge for any interested club.

Foot Mercato reports that Gravenberch’s United preference might be attributed to the presence of manager Erik ten Hag, who previously mentored the player at Ajax.
The Dutch midfielder emerged from the youth ranks in Amsterdam under Ten Hag’s guidance and could be open to reuniting with him.
However, it’s difficult to see Liverpool make a move for the Dutch star as there has been no concrete interest from the club this summer.
