Sadio Mane Speaks Out On Liverpool Future

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has claimed that he would like to remain at Anfield for the next few seasons amid interest from the La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds went through another magical season this term but at the end of it managed to win the prestigious Champions League title. The Merseyside outfit also pushed Manchester City to the final day of the season in the Premier League and lost the title by just one solitary point.

With Klopp on the verge of beginning something special with Liverpool, the German boss is looking to keep hold of his superstar players. There have been rumors that Zinedine Zidane is keen on bringing Sadio Mane to the Santiago Bernabeu to bolster his Real Madrid squad and the Anfield faithful have been holding their breath.

Mane was in sublime goalscoring form for Liverpool this season as he scored 22 goals in the Premier League winning the Golden Boot in the process. The Senegalese attacker also signed a long term contract extension earlier this season in November but with his stellar performances, Real Madrid is keen on swooping in for him in the summer.

But the 27-year-old Mane has reassured Liverpool and their fans when he told reporters that he wants to become a legend at Liverpool in order to win everything possible with the English giants including a Premier League title,  “Of course I want to be a legend, not only for Liverpool but also in the Premier League story and that is one of my targets. I will do everything possible to achieve everything possible”

Mane also completed 100 games for Liverpool earlier this season and explained his delight, “Reaching 100 games means a lot to me. To play this many games for a club like Liverpool is incredible. Like I have always said, I am very happy to play for this club and every single day I am enjoying being here and trying to do everything to win something for this club.”
