Timo Werner Showers Praise On Klopp Amid Transfer Rumors

Red Bull Leipzig superstar Timo Werner has once again spoken positively about a potential move to Premier League outfit Liverpool in the near future after labeling Jurgen Klopp as the “best coach in the world”.

The German forward has been heavily linked with a switch to Anfield from the Red Bill arena after starring in his club’s push for a maiden Bundesliga title.

Werner has attracted plenty of interest from European suitors this season as he has scored 27 goals for Leipzig in all competitions and the 23-year-old admitted on Wednesday that he was “very proud” to be linked with Merseyside giants Liverpool.

And now, Werner has now talked up about the runaway Premier League leaders once again after scoring yet another goal in a 5-0 thrashing of Schalke this Saturday, a victory that kept Leipzig just one solitary point behind Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.

Werner hailed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as the best coach in the world as the Reds are breaking records galore in the Premier League, he said, “Jurgen Klopp is the best coach in the world, There is a lot to suggest that my style of play would suit there [Liverpool].”

However, Werner insisted that his sole focus this campaign is to finish strongly with Leipzig but hinted at a move away from the club in the summer, “I’m not worried about that [a move to Liverpool], because we have so much to do with Leipzig, It’s difficult to think about where to play next year. You have to worry about it after the season. Inquiries come in, you don’t have to lie that it is so.”
