Toni Kroos’ agent has rebuffed the recent speculation that Liverpool are interested in making a move for the Real Madrid midfield maestro.
Jurgen Klopp has been on the hunt for reinforcements in the midfield department and talk had gained ground that the Liverpool manager was eyeing up a swoop for Kroos in the build-up to the next summer transfer window.
The Germany international’s contract with Madrid is due to expire at the close of the ongoing campaign and the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City are credited with a strong interest in securing his signature.

Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg, however, has dismissed such claims through his tweet with Plettenberg quoting Kroos’ agent V. Struth who has denied that his client wants to call it quits at the Santiago Bernebeu.
Liverpool’s injury crisis has been on the rise of late and Klopp’s options in the centre of the park have been affected too with the likes of Harvey Elliott and Thiago Alcantara serving lengthy spells on the sidelines.
