West Ham United have reportedly offered the Liverpool-linked Matheus Nunes a massive wage bump to seal a move to the London Stadium this summer.
Nunes has been a star turn for Sporting Lisbon in recent times and it is believed that a big-ticket move to the Premier League could well be on the cards for the 23-year-old midfielder following his impressive displays in Portugal’s top flight.
Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders, however, have remained reluctant to step up their efforts to sign the Lisbon maestro despite the increasing number of injury concerns in the Anfield giants’ midfield ranks.
According to a recent tweet by Bruno Andrade, West Ham United could emerge as strong contenders to land Nunes in the transfer window this summer with The Hammers willing to pay the player six times his current Sporting Lisbon salary.
Liverpool, meanwhile, stay focused on monitering the situition of Borussia Dortmund midfield talent Jude Bellingham who is suggested to be the top name on Jurgen Klopp’s shopping list for the forthcoming transfer windows.
