Liverpool reportedly plotting big-money move for Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho

Failure to land long-term target Erling Haaland has seemingly convinced Liverpool FC of plotting a move for Haaland’s Dortmund teammate Jadon Sancho ahead of the summer transfer window.

Reports from Todo Fichajes claim that the England international forward is a prime target for the Merseysiders heading into this summer with boss Jurgen Klopp eager on adding to his attacking alternatives.

With star first-teamer Mohammad Salah’s future at Anfield looking uncertain amid the Egyptian linked with a move to Spain, Klopp could be put in a position to bring a star arrival on Merseyside to replace the free-scoring Salah on the Liverpool FC teamsheet.

Sancho’s value in the market is understood to be quite high which brings about speculation that the Reds are willing to table an offer worth €100 million to lure Dortmund in parting ways with their prized attacking asset.

Despite being on the tail end of the chase for Haaland and Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe, Liverpool FC look highly unlikely to land either of the big-name attackers as the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City emerge frontrunners to sign them.
