Jurgen Klopp sounds out a massive hint over his plans for this summer window

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp might have suggested that new signings could be arriving on Merseyside in what remains of the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Reds have been minor players in the transfer market this summer with French centre-back Ibrahima Konate being the only fresh face to sign terms with the Anfield giants.

Names such as Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez and Brighton’s Yves Bissouma have been linked with a move to Liverpool over the source of this summer but none of the rumours have turned into much-anticipated signings for the Liverpool supporters.

Outgoings have been on show at Anfield with Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic both calling it quits on a permanent basis while Xherdan Shaqiri remains in line to head out the exit door to sign for long-term suitors Lazio.

Klopp, while speaking to the club’s official website, after his side drew 1-1 with La Liga outfit Atletic Bilbao in the pre-season friendly fixture said that he was happy with his current first-team ranks but the German did not rule out new signings before the transfer window slams shut.

“I am very happy with the squad I have.”

“You can’t sign counter-pressing, the atmosphere, our anthem… There are different approaches out there but we have no influence on that.

“There might still be something happening before the end of the transfer window.”
