Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah was named the Premier League EA Player of the Month for October following his stellar run of form in front of the goal, confirmed a report from the club’s official website.
The Egyptian international was at his brilliant best in the final third of the pitch for Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders who have endured a shaky couple of weeks in league action.
Jordan Henderson and Co. dropped points in a 2-2 draw against Brighton and then went on to suffer their first defeat of the season away at West Ham United in a 3-2 scoreline with Liverpool now sitting fourth in the standings.

Salah, however, remained his lethal self going forward and found the back of the net five times across October, including a much memorable hat-trick at Old Trafford in the 5-0 rout of bitter rivals Manchester United.
His strikes against Watford and Manchester City earned the 29-year-old rave reviews with the latter being named as the Goal of the Month for October.
