Andy Robertson an injury concern for Liverpool ahead of Arsenal clash

Andy Robertson an injury concern for Liverpool ahead of the Arsenal clash following his hamstring issue while on international duty in the recent break.

The Scotland skipper will have his fitness levels subject to assessment by the Liverpool camp in the build-up to Saturday’s game against Arsenal at Anfield with Robertson a “50-50” to feature in the forthcoming outing for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

According to reports from The Athletic, it is claimed that the full-back underwent a scan in the aftermath of Scotland’s World Cup qualifying victory over Denmark with fears over a potential hamstring issue for the Liverpool first-teamer.

Robertson is the latest scare on the injury front for Jurgen Klopp who has his star duo of Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane labelled concerns after their returns during the recently concluded international break.

Henderson withdrew from the England fold after tightness in his groin while Mane took a nasty blow to his ribs after a collision playing for Senegal with rumours suggesting that both players should be deemed fit to play come Saturday.
