Liverpool are on the road next in Premier League football this weekend with Jurgen Klopp’s men squaring up against Brentford.
The league’s new boys have made a great impression so far in their promotional campaign and could prove to be a handful on their own patch for the visitors on Saturday in the Reds.
Jordan Henderson and Co. have been upbeat in their showings on all fronts since the start of the new season and with 13 points in the bag from their opening five league fixtures, Liverpool have looked a formidable force to reckon with in spite of a timid summer transfer window in which only one new recruit arrived at Anfield.
Facing the ninth-placed Brentford is expected to be a stern test for a high-flying Liverpool side who have been on top of their game as of late but are in for a tough contest away from home turf.
Brentford have put out a solid defensive show with Thomas Frank’s men having conceded just two goals so far this season, an impressive feat surpassed only by the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and the defending champions of England Manchester City.
The Reds last turned out in Carabao Cup action earlier this week against Norwich City and despite Klopp fielding a much-changed starting XI, resting a host of his star regulars, a brace from Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi’s strike secured the win for Liverpool who booked their spot in the fourth round fixture list.
Klopp will resort to his usual players on the teamsheet this time around and with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Fabinho awarded well-earned rest, Liverpool will be backed to ensure the win on their travels to West London.

TEAM NEWS
No fresh concerns on the injury front awaited Jurgen Klopp following the Carabao Cup win over Norwich barring Naby Keita’s withdrawal off the pitch at half time.
It remains to be seen whether the 26-year-old Keita, who has emerged as a surprise package for Liverpool’s midfield department this new season, will be in the fray for making it to the teamsheet.
Another player whose fitness will be subject to evaluation ahead of the weekend matchup in the capital city is Roberto Firmino who has reportedly staged a return to team training.
Trent Alexander-Arnold had sat out the last league game against Crystal Palace owing to illness but the England international is backed to be available this time around.
KEY BATTLE
Ivan Toney vs Mohamed Salah
Toney has been a hit for the Premier League’s new boys Brentford in the final third of the pitch and will be looking to add to his tally for this season despite a strong Liverpool backline expected to be on the show.

Liverpool have their talisman Mohamed Salah to count upon on the attacking front and with the Egypt international enjoying a fine run of form in front of the goal, he will be backed to make a mark for his side on Saturday.
