Fabinho made his much-awaited return to Liverpool training ahead of the forthcoming Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
The Brazil international midfielder had been serving a spell on the sidelines as of late with a hamstring injury he picked up in the 2-1 win over Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa side earlier in the month.
With Thiago Alcantara’s injury on the final day of the Premier League campaign adding the Spanish maestro to the recovery table list at Anfield, there had been concerns on the rise for Fabinho’s fitness levels heading into the Paris showdown on Saturday.
A report from The Athletic has confirmed that Fabinho took part in the full training session for Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysider who are gearing up to lock horns with Carlo Ancelotti’s La Liga winning Real Madrid side.
Klopp also has his defensive ranks shored up with England international Joe Gomez reporting back to training following his recovery from an ankle knock he picked up against Southampton in league action last weeek.
