Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp keen on a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to be keen on a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic to reinforce his front line in the coming transfer windows.

The Merseysiders splashed the cash in a club-record deal to bring in Darwin Nunez last summer to provide firepower to the attacking ranks at Klopp’s disposal after Sadio Mane had left to sign for Bayern Munich.

Nunez, however, has endured an indifferent start to life at Anfield with the Uruguyan forward showing inconsistent form in front of the goal amid recent reports linking him with a shock move to the European champions Real Madrid.

According to a report from the Italian news outlet Calciomercato, it is hinted that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Juventus dangerman Vlahovic whose future with the Old Lady remains uncertain despite signing for them only in January 2022.

The Serbian international has netted seven goals across all competitions this season for the Turin giants but has faced criticism for his performances which have proven to be below expectations for the £70 million price tag.
