Liverpool given deadline to meet Bayern Munich’s asking price for Thiago

Bayern Munich are believed to have given an ultimatum to the Reds over Thiago Alcantara’s transfer situation. The Spanish international is a key target for Liverpool FC this summer, however, he has courted interest from other top clubs across England as well.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also understood to be in the race to sign the 29-year old midfielder after reports last month made note of Thiago’s desire to play in the Premier League before hanging up his boots.

Despite the Bayern star being keen on a move to Anfield, Jurgen Klopp’s side have been reluctant to meet the Bundesliga champions’ price-tag for the player. The German club are insistent on being offered a €30 million bid for the ex-FC Barcelona man.
