According to Italian journalist Fabio Santini, Liverpool have a realistic chance of signing Juventus ace Federico Chiesa this summer.
The 26-year-old has just one year remaining on his current contract at the Allianz Arena. The club is yet to convince the player to sign a new deal.
They have to find a solution in order to avoid losing him for free. Hence, they have slapped a £40 million price tag on the Italian star.
As per reports, several top Premier League clubs have shown an interest in Chiesa. Liverpool are the front runners in this race as they are looking for a suitable replacement for Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian winger’s future at the club is uncertain. The Anfield legend is frequently linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
