Liverpool striker’s Anfield exit to be accompanied by buy-back clause

Amid reports that Liverpool FC starlet Rhian Brewster could be the subject of a big-money move to Aston Villa this summer, the Merseyside club are understood to be wanting to insert a buy-back clause in any prospective deal for the promising forward.

The 20-year old Brewster is tipped to be on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad next season despite the player’s recent run of form being on par with the likes of Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi.

Many English top-flight teams such as Newcastle United and Brighton have enquired about signing the ex-England U17 international this summer, however, both sides have been interested in making a loan move for him.

Dean Smith’s Aston Villa, on the other hand, are believed to be preparing a £20 million worth offer for Brewster ahead of the upcoming season. The Midlands’ side are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements and are targeting the Reds’ striker as a probable option.

But due to Brewster’s huge potential being known to Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool FC boss will push for a buy-back clause to be included in a transfer offer for the 20-year old, reports suggest.
