Liverpool are backed to prioritise a move for Dortmund’s midfield sensation Jude Bellingham in the summer’s transfer window, according to claims from The Daily Express.
Bellingham has earned rave reviews for his displays in the Bundesliga with Dortmund and has proven his credentials as one of the top players in the midfield department across the continent.
With a move to the Premier League heavily expected to be on the cards for the teenage England international, Liverpool are credited with a strong interest in touching base with the Dortmund camp for Bellingham’s signature.
It is understood that Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool’s transfer chief Michael Edwards are not keen on pursuing other midfield names in the transfer market with the intention of stepping up the chase for the in-demand Bellingham in the forthcoming summer window later this year.
The likes of Yves Bissouma and Franck Kessie have been linked with an Anfield switch in the recent past with the latter nearing the end of his stay at San Siro after rebuffing an approach to renew terms in the AC Milan shirt.
